The beginning.
It all started when…
People started buying my paintings of places. Places that mattered to them. Places we shared.
This artwork happened because of the power of connection.
Now, this collection is about Seeking Sanctuary in the Wild Places.

This collection of 100 paintings is all about navigating the wild human experience through art. These 100 paintings are both realistic wild places and abstract ones. Landscapes that are just awe-inspiring and sublime. And the fierce emotional places inside of us are here too.
It’s paradoxical to me to seek calm in wild places, by definition. But a lot of us do - look for serenity in the wilderness. How does that work? Is it because it’s an escape from everything else? From the man made? What do you think?
Maybe - just maybe - the whole point of being here in the world is to learn to come to terms with the wilds inside of us - to revere them and honor them the way we do nature. To see those ‘negative' emotions as instructive and helpful. What would the world be like then? If we just listened to ourselves and each other better? I wonder.
So… here’s to promoting connection to yourself, to others, to our community, through story telling, through shared human experiences and shared wild places.
Here’s to you. This land is your land. This land is my land. These places are ours.
Because your story is my story is our story.
