These 8”x8” works were created over fall into winter ... into spring. First the acrylics on paper, pre-mounted on birch panel - so it stays flat when over wet. Make a Mess. Then the details … live in the lines. Travel each petal. Then watercolor where the acrylic isn’t - it makes such a beautiful hard line where they meet. Let it sit between. Graphite Hatching. Geometric layers. Trim, Sand, Seal with Cold Wax. Last, frame in maple float frames, wired and ready to hang.
